WAYMO, WALMART TEAM FOR SELF-DRIVING TRIPS

Autonomous car company Waymo, owned by Google’s parent company Alphabet, is partnering with Walmart to give riders in its Phoenix-area driverless car pilot program rides to pick up groceries. Customers order online, and while they’re being prepared at the store, Waymo vehicles will transport the rider to and from Walmart to collect their groceries.
