Twenty One Pilots announced their new album, “Trench” (out Oct. 5), the follow-up to mammoth breakthrough “Blurryface,” with three new songs and an accompanying music video trilogy.
The band shared the visual for its final new song, “Levitate,” on Wednesday. The track itself continues the band’s commitment to reinventing rap-rock as frontman Tyler Joseph spits lyrics over psychedelic synths and drummer Josh Dun’s fevered pacing.
“Trench” is Twenty One Pilots’ attempt to replicate the Grammy-nominated success they saw with “Blurryface,” which spawned hits such as “Stressed Out” and “Ride.”
