TOYOTA RECALLS 2.4M PRIUS HYBRIDS THAT COULD STALL
Toyota is recalling about 2.4 million hybrid cars worldwide that could stall while driving. The Japanese automaker said Friday that the recall affects about 807,000 cars in the U.S. – certain 2010 to 2014 Prius hybrids and 2012 to 2014 Prius V hybrids. The defect causes the vehicle in “rare situations” to not enter what’s called failsafe driving mode. Customers will be notified when they can get repairs; dealers will apply a free software fix.
