AA Gwynethg­wyneth Pal­trow-palt­backed Arts Club­club hashas got­ten­got­ten ap­proval for its Sun­set­sun­set Strip­strip de­vde­vel­op­ment that would­would re­plac­ere­place ththe Hustler store atat Hill­dale­hill­dale Ave­nav­enue. The build­ing would­would in­cludein­clude ththe Bri­tish mem­bers-bers-on­ly­only club­club aas well as of­fice space,space, aa restau­rarestau­rant and live mu­sic­mu­sic space,space, re­tre­tail and an art gallery.lery. Thethe West­west Hhol­ly­wood City Coun­cil ap­proved the project, de­signed by Gensler, vot­ing 4-1 to per­mit the con­struc­tion of a stepped-back build­ing that’s nine sto­ries high. The project will also in­clude an au­to­mated park­ing garage for 351 cars and a rooftop pool deck.

“To me, this is the sort of use that we’ve all been dream­ing about hav­ing for quite some time to rein­vig­o­rate and reen­er­gize mu­sic on the Sun­set Strip,” West Hol­ly­wood Mayor John Du­ran told Curbed LA.
