While mak­ing “All the Money in the World,” Christo­pher Plum­mer would tease the younger Plum­mer about their shared last name. “He had this lit­tle joke where he was re­ally up­set with me, say­ing that I had stolen his name and that I was try­ing to take over his throne,” he re­calls. Not only did the 19-year-old play the kid­napped Getty heir in Ri­d­ley Scott’s thriller this past year, he also made waves in An­drew Haigh’s “Lean on Pete.” “I’m a pretty pas­sion­ate per­son, but there’s only been a few times where I’ve read some­thing and thought that I have to be a part of it,” he says of his zest for the film. Plum­mer’s up­com­ing slew of fea­tures like “Be­hold My Heart,” “The Clove­hitch Killer,” “Spon­ta­neous,” “Gully” and “Words on Bath­room Walls” span genre, but the Mark Ry­lance devo­tee kids that the run­ning theme for his char­ac­ter por­tray­als is that “they’re all weird and com­pli­cated, man.”
