After the first issue of Vegetarian Today, we heard from several readers asking for a quick way to identify vegan and gluten-free recipes. So with this issue we made some changes. Now, to quickly locate a vegan or gluten-free recipe, there’s a symbol at the end of it — a for vegan and a for gluten-free. Also, if a recipe can easily be altered to make it vegan, we have labeled specific ingredients as optional. In this issue there are 20 vegan recipes and another five which can easily be made vegan by omitting cheese. So, thank you for helping make Vegetarian Today a better magazine.
