After the first is­sue of Veg­e­tar­ian To­day, we heard from sev­eral read­ers ask­ing for a quick way to iden­tify ve­gan and gluten-free recipes. So with this is­sue we made some changes. Now, to quickly lo­cate a ve­gan or gluten-free recipe, there’s a sym­bol at the end of it — a for ve­gan and a for gluten-free. Also, if a recipe can eas­ily be al­tered to make it ve­gan, we have la­beled spe­cific in­gre­di­ents as op­tional. In this is­sue there are 20 ve­gan recipes and an­other five which can eas­ily be made ve­gan by omit­ting cheese. So, thank you for help­ing make Veg­e­tar­ian To­day a bet­ter mag­a­zine.
