Hot Shopping There are multiple shopping options nearby, perfect for any vacationer.

Guests can visit Hildreth’s Department Store, credited as the first department store in the United States, which is always stock full of housewares. According to Chris and Kim, this is a perfect place to hunt for gifts, too. However, if guests are looking for one-of-a-kind gifts, they recommend the various thrift stores in the area, such as the Southampton Hospital Thrift Store or Colette’s on Main.

Grabbing a Bite There are plenty of lunch options in the Hamptons, and Chris and Kim recommend a few different spots near the inn.

For a more formal lunch, Silver’s and 75 Main are both on Main Street, and Le Chef and Tuscan House are on Job’s Lane. More casually, the Southampton Publick House is also on Job’s Lane. As for a grab-and-go type of lunch for busy visitors, the two recommend the Blue Duck Bakery on Hampton Road, or the Village Cheese Shop on Main Street. No matter what you’re in the mood for, Chris and Kim have a recommendation.
