Past Loves. “Don’t hesitate to use vintage ornaments from your collection on the tree,” she says. “Gifted ornaments from years gone by are fun to hang as well. They always spark memories of Christmases past.”

Picked Leaves. “I love using natural elements in our tree,” she says. “I often go pick decorative twigs and greenery from my parents’ country property to dress it up. One year, I wrapped grapevine garland all the way around the lush green pine branches of our tree to emphasize the more natural look that works so well in Christmas décor.”

Print Lengths. “I often like to use wide decorative ribbon purchased at craft stores to wrap around the tree as well,” she says. “Pretty printed ribbon makes for cheery festive garlands throughout our Christmas home!”

Like a soft bed of snow, this white desk holds a sleigh full of many of Maria's bright ornaments. A short garland, small bottlebrush tree and even green glass bottles beneath complement the scene.
