Call­ing all burger devo­tees—we’ve got just the place for you. As its name im­plies, this eatery spe­cial­izes in cre­at­ing mouth­wa­ter­ing cheese­burg­ers in a va­ri­ety of ways. And with three lo­ca­tions just in Waikiki, a hot, juicy burger is just a few steps away. The most cen­tral is Cheese­burger Beach­walk, where you can pop in for a re­fresh­ing plan­ta­tion iced tea (or mai tai if you want some­thing a lit­tle more po­tent) and take your pick from a tasty ar­ray of burg­ers, sand­wiches, sal­ads and more. Gluten-free items are on the menu as well. A few of our per­sonal fa­vorites in­clude the Orig­i­nal Cheese­burger With An At­ti­tude—a half-pound burger served with Thou­sand Is­land dress­ing, let­tuce, to­ma­toes and onions, topped with a thick slice of their spe­cial house blend of Colby Jack cheese. There’s also the “It’s All Good,” which has ev­ery­thing men­tioned above plus sautéed mush­rooms, ba­con, a slice of Swiss and a scoop of gua­camole. For a lo­cal burger ren­di­tion, try the Cheese­burger Is­land Style, which comes with a freshly grilled slice of pineap­ple and their very own Hawai­ian teriyaki sauce. In a word: Yum!
