Virginia Mae Gossett Kiker, 85, of Ringgold, Georgia passed away Saturday February 4, 2017 at her residence. A lifelong resident of the North Georgia area, she was a former employee of the Eastside Utility District where she worked for 29 ½ years, was of the Baptist faith and a member of the VFW Auxiliary Post #3679. She is preceded in death by her parents, John Henry and Arrie Mae Hill Gossett. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Joseph Herman Kiker of Ringgold, GA.; two sons, David Herman (Rita) Kiker of Atlanta, GA., and Bobby Wayne (Cathy) Kiker of Ringgold, GA.; brother, John William (Gladys) Gossett of Alabama; and five grandchild­ren, Joseph Wayne Kiker, Michael Brandon Kiker, Micah David Kiker, Brian Benjamin Kiker and Stephanie Diane Kiker Poole; three great grandchild­ren; nieces and nephews. Willie Hazel Bennett Lynn, 85, Tunnel Hill

Willie Hazel Bennett Lynn, 85, of Tunnel Hill, Georgia passed away Friday February 3, 2017 at her home. A lifelong resident of the North Georgia area, she was a retired LPN from the former Tri-County Hospital where she cared for her patients in the 50s and 60s in the old army barracks. Hazel loved the beach, fishing, cooking, reading and gardening. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Richard Johnson; second husband, William Lynn; parents, Edward Lee and Hassie Mae Llewelyn Bennett; two sisters, Mary Eaves and Patricia Curtis; and brother, James Bennett. She is survived by two sons, Rick (Sandra) Johnson and Tony (Carrie) Johnson both of Ringgold, GA.; two daughters, Teresa (J.J.) Wengert and Debra Threlkeld both of Ringgold, GA.; three sisters, Jewel Cooper and Betty Segares both of Chickamaug­a, GA., and Peggy Carter of Cleveland, TN.; ten grandchild­ren, Jeremy (Kelly) Jackson, Amy (Mike) Frost, Rick (Megan) Threlkeld, Phillip (Kim) Threlkeld, Chris Johnson, Jennifer Johnson, Beth (Jason) Sullivan, Aaron (Greg) Tirey, and Hannah (Terry) Waldron; twelve great grandchild­ren, Bailey, Garrett, Emily, Abby, Brittney, Jessica, Riley, Max, Hudson, Cole, Keely and Kaiden; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Monday January 6, 2017 from 5-8 P.M. at the funeral home. Private Memorial services will be held at a later date. Robert Franklin (Bob) Cooper, 78, Chesapeake, Va.

Robert Franklin (Bob) Cooper, 78, of Chesapeake, Virginia, formerly of LaFayette, Ga., went home to be with the Lord, on December 11, 2016, after a long illness. He served 25 years in the United States Navy including the Vietnam War, retiring as a Chief Petty Officer.

Survivors include his loving wife, Martha Shahan Cooper; daughters, Sheila Cooper and Patty Hutton; brothers, James (Jim) Cooper, Rock Spring, Ga., Jack Cooper, Ringgold, Ga., and Harvey Cooper, Cleartpoin­t, Fla.; sister, Darlene Mitchell, O’Fallon, Mo.; four grandchild­ren; five great-grandchild­ren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at Graham Funeral Home, Chesapeake, Virginia, with full military honors. Interment was held in Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial State Veterans Cemetery, Suffolk, Virginia.

Elizabeth Liz Lou Mathis Killian, 77 of Ringgold, Georgia passed away Tuesday February 7, 2017. A native of Gillette, Arkansas, she has lived in the Ringgold area most of her life and was a member of Westside Missionary Baptist Church. She was a former employee of the Chow-Time in Ringgold where she worked for 30 years, and Quality Buy / Shop-Rite in Tunnel Hill. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Killian; parents, Gordon Lee and Ethel Irene Gray Mathis; and three daughters, Sharon Killian, Lisa Killian and Baby Killian. She is survived by her son, Dennis (Rhonda) Killian of Ringgold, GA.; two sisters, Carlene Croft and Wanda Jean Mathis both of Ringgold, GA.; brother, Loyde Mathis of Ringgold, GA.; two grandchild­ren, four great grandchild­ren, several nieces and nephews, Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. John Louis Kell, 76, Rossville

John Louis Kell, 76, of Rossville, Georgia went home to be with The Lord Saturday morning, February 4, 2017. He was born in Chickamaug­a, Georgia to the late John Lee and Lois Van Horn Kell. He was a graduate of Gordon Lee Memorial High School Class of 1958. He also graduated from McKenzie Business College where he took accounting. He served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a lifelong resident of the Chickamaug­a area. John Louis was very well known for playing the piano, he had his own style of playing and was a very accomplish­ed musician. He had played for numerous musicians, churches, quartets and had recorded many songs of his own. He was of the Baptist faith. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother: William Earl Bill Kell and twin sister: Lois Louise Kell. He is survived by his close friends David and Gail Owens of Rossville, GA, and numerous cousins. The family will receive friends Monday from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm and after 11:00 am Tuesday prior to the service. Michael Ray Parham, 69, Fort Oglethorpe

Michael Ray Parham, 69, of Fort Oglethorpe, GA went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, February 3, 2017. He was a native of the Chattanoog­a and North Georgia areas and was a member of Fort Oglethorpe First Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force where he served during the Vietnam War and was a Manager for Akzo Nobel Salt for 19 years, and spent 15 years at Ringgold Primary School as head custodian. He enjoyed being outdoors, boating, camping, fishing and loved spending time with his grandchild­ren. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfathe­r and great grandfathe­r who will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ed Cotton and Wanda Slim Humphrey Parham and grandson; Kohl Grayson Parham.

Deborah Debbie Jo Sims, 59, Jasper, Tenn.

Deborah Debbie Jo Sims, 59 of Jasper, Tenn., went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at a local hospital. She was a lifelong resident of Hamilton and Marion Counties and was a 1975 graduate of Kirkman Technical High School. Debbie was employed at BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee for the past 42 years as an Executive Administra­tive Assistant. Debbie was of the Baptist faith and her passions in life were her family, her grandchild­ren, and working at BlueCross BlueShield where she made many friends over the years. She will be dearly missed.

Debbie was preceded in death by her mother, Cora Lee Anderson; granddaugh­ter, Morgan Leigh Jones; and nephew, Steven Brumlow.

Survivors include her husband of 19 years, Ronnie Sims; five children, Michelle (Brian) Stitley of Jasper, John (Sarah) Campbell of Jasper, Amanda (Jackie) Howard of Jasper, Cindy (Beck) Gore of Jamestown, and Ronnie Tink (Jordan) Sims of Livingston; father, Freddie Anderson of Chattanoog­a; brothers and sisters, Terry (Pattie) Anderson of Hixson, Cindy (Gene) Kelley of Ooltewah, Donna (Billy) Brumlow of Chattanoog­a, James (Darlene) Anderson of Whitwell, and David (Tammy) Anderson of Trenton; 14 grandchild­ren; 1 great grandson; several nieces and nephews; and a lifelong friend, Judy Lean.

Stacie Suzanne Guest Gregory, 38, Chattanoog­a, Tenn.

Stacie Suzanne Guest Gregory, 38, of Chattanoog­a, departed this life early Monday morning on February 6, 2017 after a long and brave battle with cancer.

Stacie was born in East Ridge, Tennessee on November 21, 1978 to her parents, Jerry L. and Gloria Guest. She was a beautiful and loving soul. She was a lover of all things beautiful on this earth. She had a passion for antiques and was a wonderful decorator. Stacie was a loving and faithful wife and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her father, Jerry L. Guest.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Reed Gregory, her precious dog, Daisy, her mother, Gloria Guest, brother, Greg (Laura) Guest and their children, Margaret and Matthew, brother, Kevin (Cynthia) Guest and their son, Lanier Guest, several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Stephanie Kilgore Warrick, 44 of Trenton passed away Sunday, February 5, 2017. She was a lifelong resident of Marion County Tennessee and North Georgia. Stephanie had attended Tiftonia Baptist Church and her passions in life were her family, her children, UT Football, her bulldogs, NASCAR, and she was an avid Dale Earnhardt, Jr. fan.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Chip Kilgore; maternal grandparen­ts, Dan and Jean Gouger; and aunt, Phyllis Gouger Smith.

Survivors include her husband of 11 years, Deris Warrick; four children, Joshua Young of Rossville, GA, Summer Young of Ringgold, GA, Angel (Michael) Carson of Trenton, GA, and Danielle Carson of Ft.
