Flash swimmers still in search of first win

The Fairyland Flash swim team are now 0-4 in the CASL Blue Division after a pair of tough losses last week.

Last Monday, atop Lookout Mountain, Fairlyland dropped a 411.5-360.5 decision to the Ooltewah Tidal Waves.

Ethan Bevill and Frances Bohner paced the Flash with 19 points each. Ellen Taliaferro finished with 18 points, followed by William Jackson with 15 and Andrew Horne with 14.

Nathan Jackson and Anna Ward had 13 apiece, while Victoria Wardell and Alexander Grande added 12. The other double-digit scorers included Carley Braman and Carter Garrett (11), Morton Wingfield (10.5) and Gabriel McBryar, Henry Wingfield and Ellison Ball (10).

Three nights later, the Flash traveled to the Carpet Capital, but returned home sporting another setback, this time at the hands of the Dalton Dolphins, 410.5310.5.

Annie McBryar had 17 points to pace the Flash, while Taliaferro and Bohner had 16 points each. Bevill, Harrison Barnes and Morton Wingfield finished with 15 points, while Jane Eiselstein and Mae Garrett had 14 apiece.

Other top scorers included Braman, Samuel Jackson and Ruth Burnette with 10 each.

Fairyland (0-4) will be back on the road on Wednesday with a 5:30 p.m. meet at Stuart Heights. They will be back at home to face Signal Mountain on Monday, June 26 at 5:30 p.m.
