Gospel Singing Anyone interested in singing at the Clothesline Fair Gospel Sing on Sunday, Sept. 3, call Marion Cowan, 479-841-3372. Each singer or group, please plan on 20-30 minutes of song. Everyone else bring your lawn chair and enjoy the music.
Scholarship Breakfast Occidental Lodge, Prairie Grove, will host a scholarship breakfast 6-10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 2, at the lodge located at 114 N. Mock Street, Prairie Grove. The breakfast will include eggs, bacon, sausage, gravy and biscuits, pancakes, juice, milk and coffee. This is our first scholarship breakfast of the school year. Come and help us get off to a great start for our 2018 graduating seniors from Farmington and Prairie Grove. Donations will be accepted and go to the scholarship fund.

Parks St., in Prairie Grove. Proceeds are used to pay vet bills and other costs to care for animals at the Prairie Grove Pound. The Fest will feature vendors, music, food and raffle prizes. Hours for the Junk Yard Dog are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday; noon to 5 p.m. Sunday; 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday. Admission is free.
Blood Drive Community Blood Center will have a blood drive, 1-4 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 7, at PG Telco, 139 N. Mock St. Current blood reserves have shortages among all negative blood types. The center provides blood for patients at 40 area hospitals.
