Louise Max­ine Winn Sar­gent, 83, of Strick­ler, Ark., passed away

Sept. 5, 2017, at her home.

She was born Aug. 29,

1934, in West

Fork, Ark., the daugh­ter of Bill and Bertha

(Neal) Winn.

She was a house­wife and farmer where she worked hard ev­ery­day. She would do with­out to make sure her chil­dren were pro­vided for. She was a long­time mem­ber of the New Sul­phur Freewill Bap­tist Church .

She was pre­ceded in death by her par­ents; her lov­ing hus­band Clarence “Pete” Sar­gent; one brother, Oland Winn; and two sis­ters, Chris­tine Dur­fey and Wynona More­lock.

She is sur­vived by her two chil­dren, Roy Gene Sar­gent of Lex­ing­ton, S.C., and Karen Sue Mitchell and her hus­band Larry of Prairie Grove, Ark.; one brother, Elsworth Winn of Green­land, Ark.; one sis­ter, Beatrice Cri­bett of Collinsville, Okla.; two grand­chil­dren, Kara Bryan and her hus­band Dirk of Lin­coln, Ark., and Jeremy Holmes and his wife Misty of Hanna, Okla.; three great-grand­chil­dren, Lane and Cooper Holmes and Dirk Bryan.

She will be missed greatly by all of her fam­ily and friends.

Fu­neral ser­vice was held at 10 a.m. Thurs­day, Sept. 7, 2017, at the New Sul­phur Freewill Bap­tist Church in Prairie Grove. Burial was in the Fall Creek Ceme­tery, and no grave­side ser­vice was held.

In lieu of flow­ers do­na­tions can be made to Wash­ing­ton Re­gional Hospice or Fall Creek Ceme­tery.
