Leslie Wayne Baker
Leslie Wayne “Les” Baker, 78, of Fayetteville, Ark., died Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2017. He was born Dec. 9, 1938, in Springfield, Mo., the son of Hurchel H. and Eva E. Yates Baker.
He was retired mailing supervisor at the University of Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Abbie; a son, Gregory B. Jeko; a grandson, Devin Jeko; a sister, Nancy Baker; and a brother, Jerry Baker.
He is survived by a daughter, Angelea Holcomb and her husband Clayton of Fayetteville; a granddaughter, Heather Cooper and her husband, Jason of Farmington, Ark.; a grandson, Heath Holcomb and his wife Chelsey of Siloam Springs, Ark.; and two great-grandchildren, Layton Cooper and Kenleigh Cooper.
Graveside service was held Friday, Nov. 10, 2017, at Fairview Memorial Gardens, under the direction of Moore’s Chapel. Memorials may be made to the Washington County Animal Shelter, 801 West Clydesdale, Fayetteville, AR 72701.
