Promoting Art

Jack Williams, a 2016 graduate of Farmington High School, views Andy Warhol’s artwork, “32 Campbell Soup Cans” at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. The University of Arkansas Honors College sponsored a pop-up art show earlier this year at the suggestion of Williams, a student in the Honors College. The gallery depicted selected student art that helped frame a conversation on the nature of art and the role art plays in society. Williams is an honors international studies and political science major, with a minor in art history.
