Rocco Ar­lotta Jr., 73, of Prairie Grove, Ark., passed away Thurs­day, April 19, 2018, at Wil­lard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville, Ark.

He was born Nov. 10, 1944, in Port Ch­ester, N.Y., to Rocco and Phyl­lis Le­vier Ar­lotta. He served in the United States Army. He worked at the Stam­ford, Conn., post of­fice for more than 30 years. He was an ac­tive union mem­ber, a lov­ing hus­band, fa­ther and grand­fa­ther. He was a mem­ber of the Knights of Colum­bus and he also worked part time for the World Wrestling Fed­er­a­tion.

He was pre­ceded in death by his par­ents.

Sur­vivors in­clude his wife of 49 years, Carolyn Ar­lotta of the home; three sons, Rocco Ar­lotta III of Con­necti­cut, Ger­ald Ar­lotta of Con­necti­cut and Michael Ar­lotta of New York State; one daugh­ter, Sarah Russo and hus­band An­thony Russo of Prairie Grove; two sis­ters, Elaine Moyer of New Rochelle, N.Y., and Carol Petru­celli of New Rochelle; three grand­chil­dren, Aaron Ar­lotta, Victoria Russo and Bri­anna Russo; and nu­mer­ous nieces and neph­ews.

A memo­rial ser­vice will be held at a later date in Stam­ford, Conn.

In lieu of flow­ers do­na­tions may be made in his name to Wil­lard Walker Hospice Home, 325 E. Longview St., Fayetteville, AR 72703.

He retired from Frito Lay af­ter 25 years of ser­vice. He was a mem­ber of the Sum­mers Baptist Church, where he served as Dea­con, Sun­day School teacher and mu­sic di­rec­tor for many years.

He was pre­ceded in death by his par­ents; the love of his life and high school sweet­heart, Betty Jo Young; one daugh­ter, Dorothy Ann Young; one grand­son, Jeremy Young; one sis­ter, Helen Le­flet; and one brother, Leon Young.

Sur­vivors in­clude his wife, Peggy Young; two chil­dren, Paul Young and wife Becky and Linda Springston and hus­band Gary; one sis­ter, Shirley Wil­son and hus­band Clarence; four grand­chil­dren, Joel Paul Young and wife Tif­fany, Kara Young and wife Stacy, An­drea Jo Stin­son and hus­band John and Becca Springston; three great-grand­sons, Kreiger Wayne, Ben­jamin Jeremiah and Jase Mon­roe; three step-grand­chil­dren, Keith Fuller and wife Melissa, Me­gan Neal and hus­band Heath and Kim Pil­grim and hus­band Nick; one step-great-grand­son, Caleb Pil­grim; three step-great-grand­daugh­ters, Tea­gan, Olivia, and Bria.

Fu­neral ser­vice will be 1 p.m. Thurs­day, April 26, 2018, at Sum­mers Baptist Church. Burial will be in Sum­mers Ceme­tery. A grave­side ser­vice is not planned.
