Darlean Lois Rust
Darlean Lois Rust, 85, of Springdale, Ark., went to be with the Lord Aug. 28, 2018.
She was born Oct. 4, 1932, in Wabannsee, Kan., the daughter of Clyde and Lillian Gustin Hilbish. She was a homemaker and had spent many years as owner and operator of many gas stations. She loved spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Rust; her parents; sons, Albert R. Rust and Eddie L. Rust; brother, Ralph Hilbish; sister, Donis Jewett; son-in-law, Phillip Scranton; one grandson; and two great-granddaughters.
Survivors include her son, Howard Rust and wife Marvena of Prairie Grove, Ark.; daughters, Rose Scranton of Elkins, Ark., and Tena Watson and husband Kimmy of Huntsville, Ark.; daughters-in-law, Karen Rust of Pea Ridge, Ark., and Cheryl Rust of Rogers, Ark.; sister, Leanna Geurin of Texas; 21 grandchildren; 60 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.
The family would like to give special thanks to the workers at Meadowview Health and Rehab in Huntsville and Washington Regional Hospice.
Funeral services were held Friday, Aug. 31, 2018, in the Chapel of Memorial Funeral Home, 3926 Willowood Ave., Springdale, AR 72762, with Howard Rust officiating. Burial was in Zion Cemetery in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Pallbearers were David Rust, Bobby Wray Rust, Lee Graham, Christopher Rust, Jason Peavler and Bobby Joe Rust. Honorary pallbearers were Darrell Rust, Kimmy Watson, Chad Ham, Brian Reed, Cory Beavers and Toby Beavers.
