Evaleta Dear­ing To­bie, 98, of Siloam Springs, Ark., died Wed­nes­day, Sept. 5, 2018, at Wil­lard Walker Hospice House. She was born July 28, 1920, in Farm­ing­ton, Ark., the daugh­ter of Rosa Jane Nantz and Charley Leroy Lee.

She was pre­ceded in death by two hus­bands, Stephen Earl Dear­ing and Oliver To­bie; four broth­ers and three sis­ters, Den­nie, Lloyd, Bryce, Ber­tie, Rita, Meda and Merle Lee; four sons, Charles Way­man Dear­ing, Ven­cil Ray Dear­ing, Earl Eu­gene Dear­ing, and Wil­liam Lee Dear­ing.

She is sur­vived by one son, Benny Dale Dear­ing and his wife Kathy, of Ever­ton; one daugh­ter, Jane Gayer and her hus­band Rance, of Fayetteville, Ark.; 18 grand­chil­dren; and many great-grand­chil­dren.

Grave­side ser­vice was held at 11 a.m. Satur­day, Sept. 8, at Prairie Grove Ceme­tery.
