Peggy Carrick, 79, of Fayetteville, Ark., passed away Saturday, Sept.
She was born Feb.
4, 1939, in Fayetteville to Sherman and Muriel Lyons Caughman.
She was a member of Faith Assembly of God Church in Springdale. She loved to sing about Jesus. She sang on a radio show on Sundays when she was a young teenager. She also traveled with two other ladies and sang in a trio from Hope Tabernacle in San Jose, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Olan Carrick, and her parents.
She is survived by three daughters, Cathy Padgett and her husband Bill of Springdale, Ark., Tami Hopper and her husband Steve of Prairie Grove, Ark., and Merri Wilson and her husband Tim of Baldwin, Mo.; one brother, Loy Caughman of Fayetteville; 10 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2018, at Moore’s Chapel with burial to follow in Baptist Ford Cemetery.
