Peggy Car­rick, 79, of Fayet­teville, Ark., passed away Satur­day, Sept.

29, 2018.

She was born Feb.

4, 1939, in Fayet­teville to Sher­man and Muriel Lyons Caugh­man.

She was a mem­ber of Faith Assem­bly of God Church in Spring­dale. She loved to sing about Je­sus. She sang on a ra­dio show on Sun­days when she was a young teenager. She also trav­eled with two other ladies and sang in a trio from Hope Taber­na­cle in San Jose, Calif.

She was pre­ceded in death by her hus­band, Olan Car­rick, and her par­ents.

She is sur­vived by three daugh­ters, Cathy Pad­gett and her hus­band Bill of Spring­dale, Ark., Tami Hop­per and her hus­band Steve of Prairie Grove, Ark., and Merri Wil­son and her hus­band Tim of Bald­win, Mo.; one brother, Loy Caugh­man of Fayet­teville; 10 grand­chil­dren; and 19 great-grand­chil­dren.

The funeral ser­vice will be held at 2 p.m. Wed­nes­day, Oct. 3, 2018, at Moore’s Chapel with burial to fol­low in Bap­tist Ford Ceme­tery.
