Pan­cake Break­fast

Lin­coln Se­nior Cen­ter, 116 E. Park St., will have a coun­try break­fast each morn­ing dur­ing the Ap­ple Fes­ti­val. It will be held 7-10 a.m., Fri­day; 7 a.m. to noon, Satur­day; 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sun­day. Cost is $7. The menu will in­clude pan­cakes, eggs, sausage, ba­con, biscuits and gravy, juice and cof­fee. Pro­ceeds ben­e­fit Meals on Wheels.

Ap­ple Fes­ti­val Tal­ent Show

Ap­pli­ca­tions are still be­ing ac­cepted for the Arkansas Ap­ple Fes­ti­val Youth Tal­ent Con­test, which will be 6 p.m. Satur­day, Oct. 6, at the Amer­i­can Legion build­ing. There will be two age di­vi­sions, 8-12 and 13-17. For more in­for­ma­tion, con­tact Russ or Rainy Lay­cox at vvaruss@aol.com, 479-8245495. Ap­pli­ca­tions will be taken up through mid­night Oct. 4. Par­tic­i­pants can reg­is­ter over the phone. There are 12 slots for each age group.

Pret­ti­est Pooch Con­test

Lin­coln Pound Pals will spon­sor a dog show dur­ing the Arkansas Ap­ple Fes­ti­val. The show will be at 1 p.m. Satur­day, Oct. 6, at Lin­coln Square. En­try fee is $25 and ev­ery­one will re­ceive a gift. Fol­low­ing the dog show, the Joint Forces K9 or­ga­ni­za­tion will present a drug and bomb demon­stra­tion us­ing its trained Bel­gian Mali­nois and Dutch Shep­herds. All pro­ceeds ben­e­fit Lin­coln Pound Pals.
