— Perrelet is best known for its “double rotor” and “turbine” designs, in which a spinning rotor or turbine-like element visible on the front of the watch adds visual interest. e new Weekend model is a departure: it’s as simple as can be, with a plain dial that harks back to watches from the mid-20th century. e watch is powered by Caliber P-321-2-H, made by Soprod, Perrelet’s sister company under the Festina Group umbrella. e movement has a 72-hour power reserve. e case of the model shown here is steel with a rose-gold PVD finish. Plain steel models are also available, as are versions with apertures over the balance (socalled “open heart” designs) and models with a GMT function. e watch is 39 mm in diameter; it comes on an alligator strap. e plainsteel models are also available with a steel bracelet.
