— Per­relet is best known for its “dou­ble ro­tor” and “tur­bine” de­signs, in which a spin­ning ro­tor or tur­bine-like el­e­ment vis­i­ble on the front of the watch adds vis­ual in­ter­est. e new Week­end model is a de­par­ture: it’s as sim­ple as can be, with a plain dial that harks back to watches from the mid-20th cen­tury. e watch is pow­ered by Cal­iber P-321-2-H, made by So­prod, Per­relet’s sis­ter com­pany un­der the Festina Group um­brella. e move­ment has a 72-hour power re­serve. e case of the model shown here is steel with a rose-gold PVD fin­ish. Plain steel mod­els are also avail­able, as are ver­sions with aper­tures over the bal­ance (so­called “open heart” de­signs) and mod­els with a GMT func­tion. e watch is 39 mm in di­am­e­ter; it comes on an al­li­ga­tor strap. e plain­steel mod­els are also avail­able with a steel bracelet.
