BEST GIFT SHOP COCA-COLA STORE AT DISNEY SPRINGS
Mmmm! Coca-cola! Yay! Disney! “Disney” and “Coke” are probably two of my favorite words. When you combine then, they get even better. I love Coke to the point that I will only drink water when I’m somewhere that doesn’t serve Coke!
Disney Springs has had so many new stores open in recent years—it may be hard to keep track of all of them. I will do you a favor and tell you about one of my favorites: The Coca-cola Store at Disney Springs.
I have been in Coke stores in tourist destinations before, and have always left feeling a little disappointed. I never really go in expecting to find anything specific for myself, but the fact that I am a big Coke fan and still couldn’t find anything sort of amazed me. But not here!
Coke cups, bottles, drinking glasses, balls… Any possible thing that you could want is in here—from the wall of hats, to the racks and racks of apparel. Oddly enough, I bought a Coca-cola water bottle. I do feel a little funny inside every time I put my ice water in it, but it always reminds of a little Disney each time, as well.
A neat thing about some of the collectibles that are available in the new store is that various items are made from recycled Coke cans and products. Be sure to stop in and check out some of these amazing items, and possibly help our environment a little along the way!
One HUGE feature that’s set this Coca-cola store apart from the others I’ve visited is the rooftop deck. Being on top, you can see the Planet Hollywood Observatory and Characters in Flight. It can be quite the walk up to the rooftop deck, with lots of twists and turns, but absolutely worth the trek. Be sure to head up there at night for the best view and experience. Be warned though, the music can be a little loud!
Also, while you are on the rooftop deck, be sure to check out the Tastes of the World taste test challenge and get ready to experience a wide variety of flavors. I personally have not been brave enough to try all of the different flavors, but those who have seem to enjoy themselves very much. Think of Club Cool in Epcot, but on a much broader, tastier scale. You can even try a sample tray of various Coke floats.
The Coca-cola Store at Disney Springs is definitely worth a stop during your next WDW vacation. Find yourself a little Coke souvenir or two. Don’t forget to make the journey up to the rooftop to try some wacky Coke flavors or simply enjoy an ice cold Coca-cola while looking over all of Disney Springs!
