Gen­try po­lice are in­ves­ti­gat­ing the theft of a tablet and key­board from a ve­hi­cle parked on Dawn Hill East Road. The bur­glary and theft oc­curred dur­ing the night hours of Sept. 2, ac­cord­ing to po­lice.

Also un­der in­ves­ti­ga­tion is the theft of $367 from a class­room at Gen­try High School dur­ing school hours on Sept. 9. The money was raised in a fundraiser, ac­cord­ing to po­lice re­ports.

Any­one with in­for­ma­tion on these crimes is asked to call the Gen­try Po­lice Depart­ment at 479-736-8400.

Gen­try po­lice ar­rested Heidy R. Reyes, 47, of Gen­try, on Sept. 14, in con­nec­tion with a Sept. 13 do­mes­tic vi­o­lence in­ci­dent at the Reyes home on Tay­lor Or­chard Rd. A war­rant was re­quested for do­mes­tic bat­tery in the third de­gree and for do­mes­tic as­sault on a house­hold mem­ber, ac­cord­ing to an af­fi­davit of prob­a­ble cause in the case.

Gen­try po­lice ar­rested Larry D. Burkhardt, 54, of Gen­try, in con­nec­tion with charges of unau­thor- ized use of a ve­hi­cle, theft of prop­erty, driv­ing while un­der the in­flu­ence of al­co­hol, not wear­ing a seat belt and not hav­ing a valid driver’s li­cense or in­sur­ance. The al­leged in­ci­dents oc­curred on Sept. 12, ac­cord­ing to po­lice re­ports.

Gen­try po­lice ar­rested Corbin B. Wil­son, 21, of Gen­try, in con­nec­tion to a Sept. 17 do­mes­tic vi­o­lence in­ci­dent on Gen­try Blvd. in Gen­try. Wil­son is al­leged to have as­saulted his girl­friend and his par­ents.

Gen­try po­lice ar­rested Saul Manuel Mon­te­longo-Lopez, 20, of Spring­dale, in con­nec­tion with driv­ing with­out a li­cense, ob­struct­ing gov­ern­ment op­er­a­tions and a Siloam Springs ar­rest war­rant on Sept. 1. He was stopped in con­nec­tion with the in­ves­ti­ga­tion of two fe­male stu­dents who failed to re­turn to class at Gen­try High School fol­low­ing lunch break on Sept. 1.

Ka­t­rina L. Cryer, 32, of Gen­try, was ar­rested Mon­day by Ben­tonville po­lice on a Spring­dale war­rant for fail­ure to ap­pear.
