Celebrate Archeology Day scheduled Saturday

The Arkansas Archeological Survey, UAF Station, will hold a Celebrate Archeology Day event from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, March 25, at the Survey station, 2475 N. Hatch Ave., Fayetteville, off of Garland, across from the Pauline Whitaker Animal Science Center. Survey archeologists and volunteers will demonstrate atlatls and other replicas, basketry, textile weaving, flint knapping, conduct artifact ID and have other demonstrations and exhibits on Arkansas archeology. The event is free and open to the public. Pizza will be provided by Mojo’s Pints and Pies.
