Billy V. Hall Se­nior Cen­ter hosts Cof­fee With a Cop

GRAVETTE — The Billy V. Hall Se­nior Ac­tiv­ity Cen­ter will host a “Cof­fee With a Cop” ses­sion at 10:30 a.m. next Wed­nes­day, Sept. 13. Cof­fee With a Cop brings po­lice of­fi­cers and the com­mu­nity mem­bers they serve to­gether over cof­fee to dis­cuss is­sues and learn more about each other. Se­nior cen­ter direc­tor Melissa Steele in­vites area cit­i­zens to at­tend the event at the cen­ter, lo­cated at 1870 Limekiln Road in Gravette. Com­pli­men­tary cof­fee and snacks will be pro­vided.

The Gravette Po­lice Depart­ment em­ploys 11 full­time of­fi­cers, one part-time of­fi­cer and one civil­ian em­ployee. It also has two full-time school re­source of­fi­cers serv­ing the Gravette School District.

The Cof­fee With a Cop ses­sion is co-spon­sored by the Ben­ton County SALT Coun­cil, a vol­un­teer group with the goal of re­duc­ing crime against se­nior cit­i­zens by pro­vid­ing ed­u­ca­tion and in­ter­ac­tion with law en­force­ment of­fi­cers.
