GEN­TRY — Po­lice cited and re­leased Andrew A. Field­ing, 18, of Gen­try, on Sept. 3, in con­nec­tion with a mis­de­meanor war­rant, pos­ses­sion of a con­trolled sub­stance and vi­o­la­tion of a no-con­tact or­der.

Ac­cord­ing to po­lice re­ports, po­lice stopped a car in which Field­ing was a pas­sen­ger re­gard­ing a mis­de­meanor war­rant and dis­cov­ered a bag­gie of mar­i­juana which Field­ing ad­mit­ted was his. Field­ing was also al­legedly in vi­o­la­tion of a no-con­tact or­der when he en­tered a home at which he said he had been stay­ing.

Field­ing was cited and told to leave the res­i­dence.

■ Po­lice ar­rested Den­nis L. Bald­win, 60, of Fayet­teville, on Aug. 26, in con­nec­tion with driv­ing while in­tox­i­cated. Ac­cord­ing to po­lice re­ports, po­lice were alerted to a reck­less driver headed south­bound on Arkansas High­way 59 and ob­served the ve­hi­cle which Bald­win was driv­ing go left of the cen­ter line. Ac­cord­ing to re­ports, Bald­win was un­able to safely com­plete field so­bri­ety tests and was placed un­der ar­rest and later tested .250 for blood al­co­hol con­tent. The le­gal limit is .08.

■ Gen­try po­lice are in­ves­ti­gat­ing the theft of a util­ity trailer from Ozark Ad­ven­tist Academy on Aug. 28. Any­one with any in­for­ma­tion is asked to call the po­lice depart­ment at 479-736-8400.
