SSRH re­ceives Gov­er­nor’s Qual­ity Award

SILOAM SPRINGS — Siloam Springs Re­gional Hospi­tal re­cently re­ceived the pres­ti­gious Ar­kan­sas Gov­er­nor’s Qual­ity Award. This honor was given to hospi­tal rep­re­sen­ta­tives at the Sept. 12 Gov­er­nor’s Qual­ity Award ban­quet.

“The goal of the Gov­er­nor’s Qual­ity Award Pro­gram is to en­cour­age Ar­kan­sas or­ga­ni­za­tions to en­gage in con­tin­u­ous qual­ity im­prove­ment,” said SSRH chief ex­ec­u­tive of­fi­cer Pa­trick Ker­rwood. “This is ev­i­dence of our hospi­tal’s com­mit­ment to this process and the value it brings in our con­tin­u­ous quest for health­care ex­cel­lence. It pro­vides a trans­par­ent and ob­jec­tive way to look at our lead­er­ship and strate­gic plan­ning per­spec­tive, as well as hu­man re­sources and pro­cesses as a roadmap en route to even higher lev­els of success in pa­tient care and healthy com­mu­nity goals. I want to thank all of our providers and staff for their daily ef­forts that helped us reach the first level of achieve­ment of the Chal­lenge Award.”

The award was founded by Ar­kan­sas busi­ness lead­ers as a way to rec­og­nize com­pa­nies reach­ing for the high­est stan­dards in their prod­ucts, ser­vices and pro­cesses with the goal of per­for­mance ex­cel­lence. By sub­mit­ting an or­ga­ni­za­tional pro­file, SSRH suc­cess­fully demon­strated the mis­sion, vi­sion, val­ues and core com­pe­ten­cies which cap­ture the com­mit­ment to ex­cel­lent cus­tomer ser­vice, the cul­ture of qual­ity and safety and be­ing a great place to work.
