Vet­er­ans Park open to De­catur Pickin’Time on 59 event

DE­CATUR — The De­catur Cham­ber of Com­merce will host Pickin’ Time on 59 on Sept. 28-30, from 8 a.m. un­til 5 p.m., in De­catur Vet­er­ans Park, lo­cated on N. Main Street in De­catur.

Pickin’ Time on 59 is a huge yard sale, out­door flea market, col­lectible and an­tique sales event that runs the length of Ar­kan­sas High­way 59 from the Siloam Springs Air­port to Sul­phur Springs.

There will be plenty of space avail­able for any­one wish­ing to set up a booth at the park, free of charge. The city of De­catur will waive its usual yard-sale fee of $5, and the per­mit will be good for all three days of the event.

Vis­i­tors can find a wide va­ri­ety of items, from farm equip­ment to sil­ver­ware, car parts to jump­suits, fish­ing equip­ment to base­ball cards, and much more.

The event is also spon­sored by the cham­bers of com­merce from Siloam Springs, Gen­try, Gravette and Sul­phur Springs.
