FIRE­FLY DIS­TILLERY Lo­cated on Wad­malaw Is­land, Fire­fly Dis­tillery is South Carolina’s largest mi­cro-dis­tillery and is home to the orig­i­nal sweet tea vodka. Fire­fly Sweet Tea Vodka hit the mar­ket April 2008 and quickly be­came a fa­vorite lo­cal drink. HIGH WIRE DIS­TILL­ING  This ar­ti­sanal craft dis­tillery pro­duces a dis­tinc­tive line of small-batch spir­its, in­clud­ing gins, rums, whiskeys and vod­kas us­ing a Ger­man-made cop­per still. The rus­tic, 8,000-square-foot ware­house is avail­able for tour­ing and features

PAL­METTO BREW­ING CO. South Carolina’s old­est brew­ery, Pal­metto, is a stop for any craft beer buff.
