NASCAR races rev up at Char­lotte Mo­tor Speed­way. And, other fun things for mo­tor­sports fans to do.

May is a big month at Char­lotte Mo­tor

Speed­way where six races hit the track, cul­mi­nat­ing in the 58th run­ning of the Coca-Cola 600. First up: the North Carolina Ed­u­ca­tion Lot­tery 200 on May 19, part of the NASCAR Camp­ing World Truck Se­ries, 200 miles, no speed limit and a four-tire pit stop. The Mon­ster En­ergy All-Star Race fol­lows on May 20. On May 25, the LiftMaster Pole Night is a three-round knock­out qual­i­fier for the Coca-Cola 600, and the Out­law Show­down fea­tur­ing winged, 850-horse­power open-wheel sprint cars kicks off Memo­rial Day week­end May 26, and then NASCAR’s XFIN­ITY Se­ries Hisense 4K TV 300 on May 27.
