RAVENSWOOD/LINCOLN SQUARE—

Where Chicago - - NAVIGATE -

Once a predominantly German neighborhood, Ravenswood is now home to a mix of ethnic groups and a growing community of young professionals and families. The main thoroughfare (Lincoln Avenue) boasts an array of unique shops and restaurants. Also here is the Old Town School of Folk Music, America’s first permanent school for the study of folk music, established in 1957. Lincoln Square converges where Lincoln, Lawrence and Western avenues intersect.
