The 71st Dean & DeLuca In­vi­ta­tional (May 22-28) is well-known on the PGA Tour not just for its unique his­tory, but also its lo­ca­tion at the Colo­nial Coun­try Club in Fort Worth. “It’s an all-around test of a good golfer,” said tour­na­ment man­ager Den­nis Rober­son. “It’s not just about how far you can hit [the ball].”

For spec­ta­tors, Rober­son says it’s easy to walk the en­tire scenic course within min­utes, but the so­cial scene—and the party—will al­ways be found at the 13th Hole. Jor­dan Spi­eth re­turns to de­fend his 2016 ti­tle, in ad­di­tion to PGA pros like Zach John­son, (Colo­nial mem­ber) Ryan Palmer and Brandt Snedeker. CEDAR CREST GOLF COURSE

A South Dal­las sta­ple for golf en­thu­si­asts, this Oak Cliff course re­mains a fa­vorite for its old-school de­sign and deep-rooted his­tory. GRAPEVINE GOLF COURSE
