Summer Cooldown

Where Las Vegas - - EDITOR'S ITINERARY -

When the temps reach far beyond 100 degrees, as they typically do in August, it's tempting to stay indoors and never venture out into the summer sun until you have to. Yes, there are plenty of great things to do indoors—and visiting the spa is one of our favorites, but there ARE fun outdoor activities that will keep you cool—just be sure to wear lots of sunscreen (don't forget to reapply) and stay hydrated. And please, if you are going to drink outdoors, double your water intake.

For summer fun in the sun, you can't beat a great pool party, and Wet Republic at MGM Grand, TAO Beach at The Venetian and Encore Beach Club never disappoint. Plus, you'll be jumping around to the entrancing sounds of DJs in the water so much, you may even forget it's summer—for a second anyway. Go forth, the outdoor adventure awaits!
