SEVEN SACRED POOLS—
A series of cascading waterfalls and tranquil pools flow through the O’heo Gulch. Above the Seven Sacred Pools and surrounded by verdant vegetation, the Pipiwai Trail is a 4-mile roundtrip hike that ascends 650 feet. The trail can be challenging at times due to its sometimes steep terrain. It’s well worth the trip as many people consider it the best hike on the island. www.nps.gov/hale/planyourvisit/kipahulu.htm.
