Town Parties

Where Maui - - WHERE NOW -

From Market Street in Wailuku to Front Street in Lāhainā, and Baldwin Avenue in Makawao to the Azeka Shopping Center in Kīhei, Maui residents and visitors alike gather en masse every Fridy to celebrate, eat and mingle in a bustling, carnivallike atmosphere. The party starts the first Friday of every month in Wailuku, followed by Lāhainā, Makawao and Kīhei. An initiative by the Maui County Office of Economic Development, these “Friday Town Parties” showcase the arts, food and music of each respective historical region. According to local officials, the success of Wailuku First Friday is what prompted the other Friday town parties, which started in November 2011. mauifridays.com
