Where Maui - - THE GUIDE -

One of the few natural wetlands remaining among the Hawaiian Islands, the 713-acre Keālia Pond National Wildlife Refuge, along the south-central coast of Maui, is easily accessible and perfect for viewing diverse flocks of feathered visitors from as far away as Alaska, Canada and occasionally even Asia. Upon request, if there’s time, staff members may offer an introductory tour. Off Mokulele Highway at mile marker 6, 808.875.1582.
