Satisfy a hankering for tacos at these local eateries

Where Miami - - WHERE NOW - –Sara Ventiera

MIAMI MAY BE BEST KNOWN for its world-class seafood and vibrant Cuban dining scene, but the "Magic City" also throws down on tacos all over town. Take for instance, the artistic inspired fare from Tacology (701 S. Miami Ave.), the Mercado-style taqueria located at Brickell City Centre, where the food is so pretty you won’t want to eat it. On the west end of Lincoln Road is Huahua’s Taqueria (1211 Lincoln Road). Helmed by Executive Chef Todd Erickson and named after co-owner’s pet Chihuaha, Huahua’s is a fast casual spot for quick, easy lunch, dinner and late-night Mexican fare. Start the day with breakfast tacos or soak up the night with fried chicken stuffed in a flour tortilla. For those on the run, try My Ceviche (3252 NE 1 Ave.), one of the area's fastest rising quick-serve concepts with tacos filled with fish, shrimp, charred octopus or the local favorite: raw tuna.
