A long­time mem­ber of the “Chefs of Aloha,” Chai Chaowasa­ree has won mul­ti­ple ac­co­lades for his epony­mous restau­rant. The menu of­fers an in­ter­sec­tion be­tween Asian and Euro­pean cuisines, fea­tur­ing such dishes as chilled foie gras chawan­mushi, fresh oys­ters with lemon­grass mignonette and crispy whole fish. A fa­vorite among reg­u­lars in­clude the miso Chilean seabass and the sa­vory Thai-style ox­tail soup.
