Hometown boy Arnold Palmer is hosting his annual invitational at Bay Hill Lodge & Club.
The King of Golf, Arnold Palmer, will host his annual tournament March 16-22 at Bay Hill Club & Lodge. Palmer first played here as a student on the Wake Forest golf team where he played Orlando’s Rollins College and shot a 66, seven strokes better than Jack Nicklaus. He purchased the club in 1976 for his family’s winter home, and the rest is history. Past tournament winners include Tiger Woods, Vijay Singh, Ernie Els and Phil Mickelson. Proceeds go to the Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children and Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies in Orlando. www.arnoldpalmerinvitational.com,
