Fall is the sea­son for great food and fes­ti­vals, and one of our fa­vorites is Visit Or­lando’s Mag­i­cal Din­ing Month from Aug. 29 to Oct. 2. Now in its 10th year, the event has grown to more than 90 restau­rants that are serv­ing up deca­dent three- course meals for a frac­tion of the cost. For ex­am­ple, guests may choose the salad, filet mignon and cho­co­late mousse at Mor­ton’s on our fa­mous “Restau­rant Row” or the ar­ti­choke heart, seared lo­cal snap­per and straw­berry crostada at the five-star Four Sea­sons Re­sort, all for $33 plus gra­tu­ity. Mag­i­cal Din­ing Month is the per­fect way for vis­i­tors to sam­ple sev­eral of Or­lando’s finest restau­rants while in town. Sev­eral Celebrity Chef restau­rants are par­tic­i­pat­ing, like both of Emeril La­gasse’s out­posts, Todd English’s blue­zoo and the new Mo­ri­moto Asia at Dis­ney Springs by the Iron Chef him­self. In ad­di­tion, sev­eral James Beard nom­i­nees are par­tic­i­pat­ing as well, in­clud­ing Kath­leen Blake of the Rusty Spoon; James and Julie Pe­trakis of Cask & Larder and Rav­en­ous Pig; and Kevin Fonzo of K.
