BEAULIEU VINE­YARD— This 100-year-old win­ery is the long­est con­tin­u­ally op­er­at­ing win­ery in Napa Val­ley and is the pro­duc­tion site for the flag­ship Caber­net Sau­vi­gnon. Beaulieu was founded on a four-acre ranch by a French wine­maker who en­vi­sioned a com­pany pro­duc­ing fine wine un­par­al­leled to his na­tive France. BERINGER VINE­YARDS— Napa Val­ley’s old­est con­tin­u­ously op­er­at­ing win­ery is also among its most ac­ces­si­ble. Beringer is known for its Caber­net Sau­vi­gnons and bold, oaky Chardon­nays. CHATEAU MONTELENA WIN­ERY— The Napa win­ery whose Chardon­nay earned Cal­i­for­nia wines in­ter­na­tional recog­ni­tion at the 1976 Tast­ing of Paris (por­trayed in the movie “Bot­tle Shock”) is still pro­duc­ing great wines, like the Es­tate Caber­net, Es­tate Zin­fan­del and the lim­ited pro­duc­tion Pot­ter Val­ley Ries­ling.
