Travel back in time on Seat­tle’s above-thestreet monorail, which has been trans­port­ing trav­el­ers from West­lake Cen­ter to the Seat­tle Cen­ter (site of the Space Nee­dle and other pop­u­lar at­trac­tions) since it opened for the 1962 World’s Fair. To­day, the trains carry more than 2 mil­lion pas­sen­gers ev­ery year. One-way fares are $2.50 for adults, $1.25 youth (5-12), se­niors (65+), and dis­abled/per­sons with Medi­care cards.
