∙OTHER PHOTO ART Inaplace that’s filled with green, blue, and other trop­i­cal hues, pho­tog­ra­pher Clyde Butcher chooses to shoot in black and white. The famed Florida wildlife pho­tog­ra­pher has been cap­tur­ing the Sun­shine State’s nat­u­ral ecosys­tem, from the ocean to swamps, for decades and be­lieves that by us­ing sim­ple col­ors, the true beauty of na­ture is the fo­cus. From Oct. 3 to 30, his ex­hibit,“Pre­serv­ing Florida’s Legacy,” will be on dis­play at the MicheleTuegelCon­tem­po­rary,320 Cen­tral Ave. in St. Peters­burg. Butcher will also be at­tend­ing an artist re­cep­tion for the open­ing on Oct. 3 from 2 to 5 p.m. See Florida in a whole new­light with his one-of-a-kind pho­tog­ra­phy, it’s sure to change your whole per­spec­tive of our beau­ti­ful state. The ex­hibit will fea­ture the artist’s photos which will surely cap­ture those seek­ing to fill their col­lec­tion with unique pho­tog­ra­phy.
