Where Tampa Bay - - Where Now -

To the south along the coast from Clearwater to St. Petersburg, seafood once again takes center stage at Middle Grounds Grill (middlegroundsgrill.com) in Treasure Island, and what a treasure it is. Don’t let the casual vibe fool you, though—the food is fresh and delicious.

The dining scene in downtown St. Pete is vibrant, and one of the top spots to enjoy is Parkshore Grill (parkshoregrill.com) with its contemporary American menu. Nearby, 400 Beach Seafood & Tap House (400beachseafood.com) features “relaxed coastal cuisine” for lunch and dinner, not to mention a sumptuous Super Sunday Breakfast Buffet and 24 beers on tap.

You may not expect to find a steak house in a 1920s-era mansion, but that’s just what you’ll find at Rococo Steak (rococosteak.com), also in downtown St. Pete. Come hungry and leave happy, or make your way back to Beach Drive and have a glass of wine for a nightcap at Annata Wine Bar (annatawine.com).

Across the peninsula on St. Pete Beach, Maritana Grill (loewshotels.com/ don-cesar/dining) serves up delectable seafood dishes, while Hotel Zamora’s Castile (castilerestaurant.com) offers upscale dining in a beautiful setting.
