Our nu­tri­tion team used guide­lines from The Me­tab­o­lism Plan to cre­ate these spe­cial menus for you to try. En­joy the ba­sic menu dur­ing your first day on this plan. On day two, be­gin test­ing up to one new food a day us­ing the in­struc­tions, right. If you don’t re­act to a food, add it freely there­after. Por­tions given are sug­ges­tions; eat as much or as lit­tle as you need to feel con­tent while eat­ing just three meals and one snack per day. While us­ing this plan, be sure to drink plenty of wa­ter. Most herbs/spices are anti-in­flam­ma­tory and un­likely to trig­ger a re­ac­tion, but do avoid chili pow­der, fen­nel, anise and pa­prika un­til you test them. Limit salt, too, as it can cause fluid re­ten­tion and in­ter­fere with test re­sults. As al­ways, get a doc­tor’s okay to try any new plan.
