Grilled Sour Cream and Onion Burg­ers

Jazz up juicy beef burg­ers with ev­ery­one’s fa­vorite sour cream and onion dip!

2 lbs. lean (at least 80%) ground beef

1 pkg. (1 oz.) onion soup mix

1 cup sour cream

1/2 cup plain bread­crumbs, prefer­ably Pro­gresso ™

1/8 tsp. pep­per

8 sand­wich buns, split, or 1 round fo­cac­cia bread (about 10" in di­am­e­ter), cut hor­i­zon­tally in half, then cut into 8 wedges

Leaf let­tuce, if de­sired l Heat gas or charcoal grill. In large bowl, mix all in­gre­di­ents ex­cept buns and let­tuce. Shape mix­ture into 8 pat­ties, about 1/2" thick.

l Place pat­ties on grill. Cover grill; cook over medium heat 10-15 min­utes, turn­ing once, un­til meat ther­mome­ter in­serted into cen­ters of pat­ties reads 160°F. Serve in buns with let­tuce.
