(16 oz.) pack­age fresh moz­zarella, sliced 3 medium toma­toes, sliced 1/4 cup sliced fresh basil 1/4 cup bal­samic vine­gar 1/4 cup ex­tra-vir­gin olive oil 1/2 tsp. kosher salt 1/4 tsp. coarsely ground pep­per

Split bread or rolls in half and spread each half with pesto. Place slice of moz­zarella, tomato and a bit of basil on bot­tom halves.

Driz­zle with vine­gar and oil and sprin­kle with a bit of salt and pep­per. Sand­wich halves to­gether and skewer with tooth­picks.
