Make summer’s trendiest milkshake!
Craving something truly decadent? Blend chunks of cheesecake into a creamy milkshake! The trend started in New York City, where iconic eateries like Junior’s and Katz’s Deli put cheesecake-flavored shakes on their menus (sometimes topped with whole slabs of cheesecake!) and now you can find the concoctions at ice-cream shops across the country. Prefer to make your own? Customize this easy recipe with your favorite fruit and toppings:
✤ In blender, whiz together 1 1/2 cups vanilla ice cream, 1/2 cup milk, 2/3 cup frozen cheesecake (about 1/2 slice) and 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, raspberries or blueberries. Pour into 2 glasses and garnish with whipped cream and chocolate syrup or graham cracker crumbs!
