Savor the taste of fall with a tangy appleinfused cocktail! “I really love drinks that contain an aroma or flavor that captures the season, so I like to use apples and baking spices like cinnamon, nutmeg or cloves,” says Chris Cardone, the United States Bartenders Guild’s 2017 Bartender of the Year. Try Chris’ Apple-y Ever After: In a shaker with ice, add 1⁄ oz. apple cider, 11⁄ oz. aged 2 2 rum, 1⁄ oz. brandy, 3⁄ oz. lemon juice and 1⁄ oz. 2 4 2 cinnamon syrup (to make: add 1 cup sugar and 1 cinnamon stick to 1 cup boiling water; simmer for 10 minutes). Shake. Strain into an ice-filled glass and top with a splash of ginger beer.
