Ma­son jar cock­tails are hav­ing a mo­ment! The rea­son: “A ma­jor part of it is the charm of the Ma­son jar it­self,” says Shane Car­ley, au­thor of The Ma­son Jar Cock­tail Com­pan­ion. “They’re un­der­stated but eas­ily rec­og­niz­able— and they in­ject per­son­al­ity where you might not ex­pect to find it. They’re the per­fect way to add a bit of flair to your cock­tails!” To make Shane’s Cran­berry Mar­garita: Fill a shaker with ice. Add 1 part lime juice, 2 parts tequila, 1 part orange liqueur and 2 parts cran­berry juice. Shake; strain into an ice-filled Ma­son jar (rim the edge of the jar with salt, if de­sired). Add gar­nishes like cran­ber­ries, lime slices and a cin­na­mon stick (op­tional).
